In the heart of Summerlin, just before the Red Rock Mountains, the Red Rock Country Club is host to a legendary-bound tennis program. Red Rock’s tennis programming features many annual events its invited guests enjoy for modest costs and that are free to its members. Some of these events include The Rally for a Cure Mixer, Wilson Demo day, Prince Demo Day, and a Member Appreciation Day. There are also daily clinics to participate in and staff professionals giving private and group private instruction, 7 days a week.

As a semi-private club, there are many opportunities for invited guests to play tennis at this fine facility. Red Rock offers several programs for tennis players to play for Red Rock USTA league teams. Further, its tennis professionals offer customized team clinics that meet the individual needs of each team. All drop-in clinics featured are open to tennis players of all levels and ages. These drop-in clinics have many themes such as Dynamic Doubles, The Director’s Cut, Wanna Workout, Cardio20Tennis and Super Drills.

Red Rock's tennis facility includes 8 lighted tennis courts and an additional lighted stadium court that has featured exhibition matches with both local talent and has had tour talent such as Serena Williams. It has been a practice ground for Leyton Hewitt, Mark Philippoussis, Sargis Sargsian, and hundreds of active USTA tennis players who all love tennis. Its members include Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Darrin Cahill, Robert Keinnis and many others.

Aside from the benefits of playing tennis at Red Rock, to be a member of this country club is a unique privilege with many other rewards. Two 18 hole Arnold Palmer designed golf courses find their home nestled in the beautiful landscape. In addition, a plethora of social events are offered. Social wine dinners spotlighting amazing vineyards such as Turnbull, Towbin James, Justin Vineyards and others present relaxing occasions to make new friends. Red Rock Country Club is not only the dwelling of chic amenities and elegance, but made its mark in tennis history by joining forces with CourtThink, LLC in September of 2007. "The promising partnership was intended to provide excellent tennis management and instruction for Las Vegas tennis enthusiasts," explained CourtThink partner Tyler Weekes. "Now in the second year of this joint venture Red Rock and CourtThink still enjoy the opportunity to be an influence to the game."

CourtThink staff feelS they produce great tennis at Red Rock because its coaching staff is in direct descendants from coaching great, Vic Braden.

"Almost as Socrates was to Greek philosophers, Braden is to tennis coaches and is to CourtThink," explained Tyler Weekes. "Both men stu died their work, questioned current affairs, and significantly, passed on their knowledge to other students. Not only did both men teach stude nts their personal knowledge, but they both taught students to think independently."

At the Red Rock Country Club, CourtThink shares the same philosophy. "CourtThink teaches the most efficient way to learn strokes and strategy and then allows for a player's individual creativity to dictate the rest," explains Weekes. After 64 years, Braden coached many great coaches and many great players and he helped run the pro tour when it was first up and running. According to Weekes Pro tennis might not exist without Braden and so CourtThink also wants to pay tribute to his efforts and spread the message on all levels of the game. "The Red Rock Country Club and CourtThink partnership can easily be summarized by beautiful facilities, quality coaching and momentous endeavors", said Weekes.
