Top seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan won back-to-back US Men's Clay Court Championship crowns in Houston Saturday to move to within two titles of equaling the all-time doubles titles record.
The Bryans won the match, 6-3, 7-5, over Australian Stephen Huss and South African Wesley Moodie, a team that won Wimbledon in 2005.

"This event was loaded with top teams - not necessarily the Top 8 but a lot of Grand Slam champions in this field," said Mike Bryan. "We feel glad to get out of this tournament with a title; it really bodes well for the upcoming clay court season for us."

One of the biggest success stories in the history of Vegas Tennis is the Darling Tennis Center. Soon after an opportunity almost as significant followed, the legendary Tennis Channel Open. Then when you thought it could not get any better, the USTA announced this month that the Amanda and Stacy Darling Tennis Center has been named a USTA Certified Regional Training Center.
All of these major success stories have one thing in common: Sandy Foley. Sandy has been instrumental in making these dreams come true. If not for her efforts, it is safe to say none of these major Las Vegas Tennis breakthroughs would have ever occurred.

The USTA-Nevada District received very good news from the United States Tennis Association and to make it even better Las Vegas native and eight-time Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi was there to take part in the press conference.

Thanks to the enormous efforts put forward by USTA-Intermountain, The City of Las Vegas, our Mayor and City Council, Lonny Zimmerman and most of all Sandy Foley with the Amanda and Stacy Darling Tennis Center, the USTA announced that Darling has been named a USTA Certified Regional Training Center. The move is part of the USTA's continuing effort to develop future American tennis champions to follow in the footsteps of players like our own home town hero and tennis legend Andre Agassi.
