Casper Ruud showcased his title defense in style, dominating Jaume Munar with a commanding 6-0, 6-1 win. This victory brings the Norwegian’s lead to 7-1 against Munar in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, a finalist in 2019, delivered an upset by outplaying eighth seed Alexander Bublik 6-2, 7-5 in the second round. His impressive 73-minute performance marked his first back-to-back clay victories since his quarter-final run in Barcelona 2025.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, the 2024 finalist, advanced effortlessly, defeating Vilius Gaubas 6-3, 6-4 in just 81 minutes, setting up a third-round clash with Alexander Blockx.

Blockx, in a remarkable display, overcame World No. 32 Brandon Nakashima, winning 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 after a slow start, highlighted by a stunning forehand winner in the second set.
