Stefanos Tsitsipas: A 12-Time Tour-Level Champion
By ATP Staff
In a disappointing turn of events, Stefanos Tsitsipas has officially withdrawn from the Rolex Shanghai Masters due to a leg injury.
The Greek star, who has faced recurring back issues this season, was set to compete against Czech qualifier Dalibor Svrcina on Saturday in the final match on Grandstand 2. Australian Aleksandar Vukic steps in to take his place as a lucky loser.
This season has tested Tsitsipas’ resilience. After securing five Top 10 finishes from 2019 to 2023 and placing No. 11 last year, the former World No. 3 has seen his ranking fall to No. 25 in the PIF ATP Rankings.
According to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss index, the 2019 Nitto ATP Finals champion holds a record of 22 wins and 18 losses this year.
