Introducing “Le Comeback!”
In a twist that only her vibrant persona could deliver, Alizé Cornet has officially announced her return to the world of tennis after stepping away from the game last year.
At the age of 35, Cornet is set to make her competitive comeback at the highly anticipated Open Capfinances Rouen Métropole tournament in France.
This event marks her first appearance since she announced her retirement following a first-round exit at the 2024 Roland Garros, where she faced off against China’s Qinwen Zheng.
In her exuberant statement on the tournament’s website, Cornet exclaimed, “You thought you were rid of me? Not just yet! Get ready to feel the excitement again!”
