The relentless downpour continues to plague the National Bank Open presented by Rogers men’s tournament in Montreal.
In light of the weather, organizers have delayed the commencement of Monday’s matches by at least an hour, with a new target start time of noon ET / 9 a.m. PT.
On the opening day of the main draw, only two out of 14 planned matches could be played due to the adverse conditions.
This has resulted in a jam-packed schedule for Monday, though the weather forecast raises concerns about concluding the first round as planned.
Local stars Alexis Galarneau and Gabriel Diallo are set to take the stage on Centre Court during this ATP Masters 1000 event on Monday.
