However, a significant prize awaits in Shanghai. The victor will depart with a staggering sum of US $1,124,380.
Before the tournament, Vacherot had accumulated $594,077 throughout his career. The Monegasque player, with just one ATP Tour match victory under his belt prior to Shanghai, has greatly surpassed that milestone by reaching the final. He is now assured a minimum prize of $597,890.
