In a surprising announcement, Novak Djokovic has decided to withdraw from the upcoming Rolex Paris Masters, where he boasts an impressive record of seven titles.
At 38 years old, Djokovic last showcased his skills in Shanghai earlier this month, where he finished as a semi-finalist, losing to the unexpected champion Valentin Vacherot.
“Dear Paris, I’m saddened to share that I won’t be participating in this year’s Rolex Paris Masters,” Djokovic expressed on social media. “I cherish the incredible memories and successes I’ve had there, especially winning the title seven times. Looking forward to returning next year. Merci 🙏”

The 2025 edition of the French ATP Masters 1000 event, which is being held for the first time at La Défense Arena, will feature star players Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. The tournament is scheduled from October 27 to November 2.
This past Saturday, Djokovic secured his spot in the Nitto ATP Finals for an astonishing 18th time, equaling Roger Federer’s all-time record. He has clinched seven titles at this prestigious season finale.
Djokovic boasts a 35-11 record this season, highlighted by his 100th tour-level title captured in Geneva and reaching the semi-finals at all four Grand Slam events.
