No tennis matches will be held in Montreal this Monday evening.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the men’s quarterfinals at the National Bank Open presented by Rogers have been postponed, as announced by the tournament.
These matches are now set to take place on Tuesday, starting at 12:30 p.m. ET.
The postponement affects the men’s singles quarterfinal clashes on center court between Rafael Jodar and Arthur Fils, as well as Luciano Darderi and Brandon Nakashima. In addition, two men’s doubles quarterfinals on Rogers Court have also been delayed.
Darderi and Nakashima will kick off the action at 12:30 p.m. ET, followed by Fils and Jodar at 2 p.m. ET, both on center court.
Tuesday’s lineup boasts all four men’s singles quarterfinals, featuring defending champion Ben Shelton against Jakub Menšík at 6 p.m. ET, and Learner Tien battling Daniel Merida Aguilar at 8 p.m. ET, both on center court. Fans can catch every match on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet+.
Please note that scheduled times are subject to change.
Last week, rain significantly disrupted women’s matches in Toronto, leading to multiple postponements during the initial days of the tournament.
