Jannik Sinner has edged closer to Carlos Alcaraz in their exhilarating quest for Big Titles, clinching the Rolex Paris Masters on Sunday.

The talented Italian triumphed over Felix Auger-Aliassime, securing his first ATP Masters 1000 championship of the season. With this win, Sinner now boasts a total of 10 Big Titles — a collection that includes Grand Slam victories, Nitto ATP Finals trophies, ATP Masters 1000 titles, and an Olympic singles gold medal.

Currently, Sinner trails Alcaraz by a mere four Big Titles. The Spanish sensation has claimed five such trophies in 2025—three Masters 1000 titles and two major wins—compared to Sinner’s three. The 24-year-old has triumphed in two majors and one Masters 1000 event.

Big Titles Comparison: Alcaraz vs. Sinner

Players Grand Slams

Masters 1000 Total (Avg)
Carlos Alcaraz 6/19 0/2 8/32 14/54 (3.9)
Jannik Sinner 4/24 1/3 5/36 10/63 (6.3)

The San Candido star has now secured Masters 1000 titles in three consecutive seasons. Impressively, he has clinched at least three Big Titles in each of the last two years, following a six-title season in 2024.

As the newly crowned No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings, Sinner stands fifth among active players for Masters 1000 titles, trailing only Novak Djokovic (40), Alcaraz (8), Alexander Zverev (7), and Daniil Medvedev (6).

Sinner has achieved a remarkable ratio of winning a Big Title every 6.3 tournaments participated in. Only Djokovic (3.3), Rafael Nadal (3.5), Alcaraz (3.9), Roger Federer (4.4), Pete Sampras (4.9), and Andre Agassi (6.1) have accomplished that at a better rate.

With one Big Title left to contest this season, Sinner and Alcaraz will headline the Nitto ATP Finals from November 9-16. Sinner enters as the defending champion while Alcaraz aims for his first title at this prestigious event.
