In a heartfelt announcement on social media, Jack Draper revealed that he will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025 season due to an arm injury. He previously withdrew from the US Open after competing in just one singles match because of the same concern.

“Regrettably, my arm injury requires extended rest, and I will be unable to participate for the rest of 2025,” Draper shared. “It’s tough to come to terms with, especially after gaining significant momentum this year and showcasing some excellent performances.”

Currently ranked ninth in the PIF ATP Live Race to Turin, Draper will miss his opportunity for a debut at the prestigious Nitto ATP Finals. Instead, the 23-year-old plans to concentrate on his recovery after a remarkable year that saw him win his first ATP Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells.

“I’ve faced challenges like this before and have always come back stronger. I’m highly motivated to reach my full potential,” Draper expressed. “A massive thank you to everyone who supports me on this journey. I can’t wait to return and give my all. See you soon!”

Draper boasts an impressive 30-9 record this season, which includes reaching the finals at his second Masters 1000 event in Madrid and another championship finals appearance in Doha.
