LONDON — Exciting news for tennis fans! The Davis Cup Final 8 is set to take place in Italy from 2025 to 2027, as revealed by the International Tennis Federation on Monday. Bologna will kick off the festivities as the host city next year.

Under the stellar leadership of Jannik Sinner, Italy has clinched the last two Davis Cup titles in Malaga, Spain, which has been the venue for the men’s team competition for the past three years.

Displaying impressive talent, Italy recently triumphed in the Billie Jean King Cup in Malaga, thanks to a remarkable performance by Jasmine Paolini.

The Davis Cup is just one of the prestigious tennis events making its way to Italy, a country that also hosts the ATP Finals. The Rome Masters serves as a crucial clay-court competition leading up to the iconic French Open.

In 2024, Sinner achieved the remarkable feat of winning two Grand Slam titles and ascending to the number one spot in the ATP rankings, while Paolini impressively secured the runner-up position in two major tournaments and concluded the year ranked No. 4 in the WTA.
