Hurkacz expressed his gratitude …

“I’m incredibly thankful for all the messages, support, and kind words you have sent my way. It means the world to me and fuels my determination.”

“I’m feeling good, and everything is progressing positively. Daily, I’m putting in the work with my team in the gym, on the court, and with my physiotherapist.”

“However, to return to tournaments and compete at the highest level, I must be 110% prepared. Therefore, I believe the best choice is to start fresh next season, fully ready to compete.”

“Thank you for sticking with me, and I look forward to seeing you at the tournaments soon!”

The 28-year-old has a season record of 15 wins and 11 losses, as noted by the Infosys ATP Win/Loss index. He currently occupies the No. 69 spot in the PIF ATP Rankings, significantly lower than his peak position of No. 6 in August of the previous year.

He has not played since pulling out of his scheduled second-round match in ‘s-Hertogenbosch due to a back injury on June 12.
