EALA BREAKS INTO TOP 100
Making waves with a semifinal finish in Miami, the talented southpaw Eala ascends to No. 75 in this week’s WTA rankings—an impressive leap of 65 spots! Prior to her Miami success, she had only secured two WTA victories.
This elevation will position her favorably for entry into major clay events, including the prestigious Roland-Garros, ensuring we’ll see a lot more of this gifted teen in the upcoming weeks.
Eala proudly becomes the first athlete from the Philippines to attain a Top 100 ranking.
RADUCANU RECLAIMS TOP 50
With a remarkable quarterfinal run in Miami, Emma Raducanu climbs back into the Top 50, rising 12 spots to break into this elite group for the first time since August 2022.
The 22-year-old from Britain notched two significant Top 20 victories in Miami, defeating Emma Navarro and Amanda Anisimova, marking her first string of four consecutive wins since clinching the U.S. Open title in 2021.
KESSLER ACHIEVES CAREER-HIGH
American player McCartney Kessler made a strong showing by winning two matches in Miami, propelling her to a career-high ranking of No. 42. The former Florida Gator entered Miami qualifying ranked No. 120 just last year.
20-year-old Ashlyn Krueger also enjoyed success, reaching the round of 16 in Miami and achieving a career-high ranking of No. 34, moving up six spots. She showcased her talent by defeating Leylah Fernandez and Elena Rybakina in a standout performance.
Amanda Anisimova, who reached the round of 16 but fell to Raducanu, climbs one spot to a new personal best at No. 16.

SABALENKA INCREASING HER LEAD
World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka has widened the gap between herself and World No.2 Iga Swiatek after claiming her eighth 1000-level title in Miami and her 19th overall.
Entering her 32nd overall week at the top, Sabalenka holds a substantial lead of 3,071 points over Swiatek as the clay season approaches.
