By ATP Staff
Novak Djokovic has made history by tying the record for the most qualifications to the Nitto ATP Finals, now standing alongside Roger Federer with an impressive 18 entries.
His spot for the 2025 finale was solidified following the draw for the ATP 500 events in Basel and Vienna released on Saturday. Alongside Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have also secured their positions in the singles draw in Turin.
This year marked a significant milestone for Djokovic as he clinched his 100th tour-level title in Geneva, joining elite company as only the third player in the Open Era to achieve this feat, following in the footsteps of Jimmy Connors (109) and Federer (103).
Throughout the Grand Slam season, Djokovic remained a formidable competitor, reaching the semi-finals at the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open—a feat he has now accomplished seven times across all majors. He also reached the finals of the ATP Masters 1000 in Miami and advanced to the semi-finals in Shanghai.
This qualification marks Djokovic’s eighth consecutive appearance at the Nitto ATP Finals; he first graced the year-end event in 2007 at just 20 years old, having missed only one edition since (in 2017 due to injury).
As a record-setting seven-time champion, Djokovic first captured the year-end title in 2008 and was last seen lifting the trophy in 2023. He has triumphed in two of the four editions hosted in Turin and boasts an impressive 50-18 record at the event, as per the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
Mark your calendars: the Nitto ATP Finals is set to take place at the Inalpi Arena from November 9-16.
