In a beautiful ceremony, Diego Schwartzman has embarked on a new adventure away from the tennis court. The Argentine player, who announced his retirement earlier this season, exchanged vows with his long-time love, Eugenia De Martino, on Thursday in the vibrant city of Buenos Aires.
The couple’s love story began in 2019, with Eugenia often spotted cheering for Schwartzman during tournaments. In a romantic gesture, Diego proposed to her in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris in June 2024, marking a memorable milestone in their journey together.
Having previously held the No. 8 spot in the PIF ATP Rankings, Schwartzman announced his retirement on home turf at the ATP 250 event in Buenos Aires back in February. Over his illustrious career, he captured four ATP Tour titles and made an appearance at the prestigious Nitto ATP Finals in 2020.
