Harriet Dart has a unique way of enjoying her bagels—she likes them with a hint of salt.
However, today’s match against French wild card Lois Boisson left her feeling less than cheerful, as she faced a daunting 6-0, 6-3 defeat.
In a surprising turn of events, Dart made an unusual request regarding her opponent’s hygiene during the match.
Harriet Dart asked the umpire to instruct her opponent to apply deodorant 😳
She lost the match 6-0 6-3

“Could you please remind her to use some deodorant? The smell is quite overwhelming,” Dart requested during a changeover.
Unfortunately for Dart, her request didn’t seem to alter the flow of the match. Boisson dominated, taking an impressive seven straight games at the start and closing the match with another three consecutive victories.
