Dabrowski of Canada and Routliffe of New Zealand Win at WTA Finals

In a thrilling matchup at the WTA Finals, Ottawa’s Gabriela Dabrowski and New Zealand’s Erin Routliffe triumphed over Russia’s Diana Shnaider and Mirra Andreeva with scores of 6-3, 7-6 (2) during the women’s doubles group stage on Sunday.

The dynamic duo of Dabrowski and Routliffe, seeded third, showcased their prowess with two aces, while navigating three double faults and converting on three out of eight break point opportunities.

They also dominated the court, winning 76% of their first-serve points, demonstrating impressive consistency.

On the other side, Shnaider and Andreeva, the fifth seeds, recorded three aces but struggled with six double faults and managed to break their opponents only once from four opportunities.

Despite their challenges, they still clinched 75% of their first-serve points.
