Prepare for an exhilarating two-week journey at the Cincinnati Open in 2025, featuring unprecedented draws!
The tournament will expand to a thrilling 14-day event—an increase from nine days—to accommodate a 96-player format for both men and women. Set to unfold from Tuesday, August 5 to Monday, August 18, this year’s edition will see the number of sessions rise from 16 to 24, culminating in both the men’s and women’s singles finals on a spectacular Monday.
“We see the evolution of the Cincinnati Open as a remarkable transformation that will enhance the experience for our fans, players, and partners,” stated Tournament Director Bob Moran. “The extended duration allows players ample recovery time between matches, ensuring they can perform at their highest levels. Additionally, fans will enjoy increased opportunities to witness elite tennis talent through more matches, practice sessions, and exclusive on-site experiences.”

Exciting Details for This Year’s Cincinnati Open:
Kicking off with the qualifying rounds on Tuesday, August 5, and Wednesday, August 6, a total of 48 players will showcase their skills in both men’s and women’s divisions, with 12 players from each advancing to the main draw.
Main draw action will ignite on Thursday, August 7, featuring 32 seeded players in both categories, each receiving a bye in the first round. The tournament’s top-ranked competitors will hit the courts during the first weekend, August 9 and 10, for the second round.
The excitement continues with women’s and men’s quarterfinals on Thursday, August 14, and Friday, August 15. While the men’s quarterfinals will be split across both days, all women’s matches will be held on August 15.
The final stretch will feature the men’s semifinals on Saturday, August 16, and the women’s on Sunday, August 17, with both singles champions crowned on Monday, August 18.
Doubles events will start with women’s doubles on Thursday, August 7, followed by men’s doubles on Monday, August 11, with finals for both categories set for Sunday, August 17.
