Victoria Mboko will unfortunately be absent from the 2026 US Open.
The talented 19-year-old Canadian does not appear on the official entry roster for this year’s final Grand Slam, indicating that her knee injury, sustained during a fall at the HSBC Championships in June, remains unresolved.
Ranked 12th in the world and hailing from Burlington, Ontario, Mboko suffered a medial collateral ligament injury in her left knee.
This setback has compelled her to withdraw from the rest of the grass-court season, including Wimbledon, as well as next week’s National Bank Open presented by Rogers, where she was the defending champion.
The US Open will take place from August 30 to September 12 in New York, while the NBO Toronto event is scheduled for August 2-13 at Sobeys Stadium.
