In an exciting quarterfinal showdown at the French Open, Canada’s Gabriela Dabrowski and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani triumphed over Germany’s Laura Siegemund and Russia’s Vera Zvonareva with a score of 6-4, 7-5.

The victorious team, hailing from Ottawa and Brazil, took 1 hour and 52 minutes to secure their spot in the next round.

This dynamic fourth-seeded pair is set to face the top-seeded duo of Katerina Siniakova from Czechia and American Taylor Townsend in the semifinals.

On the singles side, fourth-seeded Felix Auger-Aliassime from Montreal is gearing up to compete against 10th-seeded Italian Flavio Cobolli on Wednesday.

This marks the third occasion that Auger-Aliassime has advanced to the second week of the prestigious Roland Garros tournament.

Previously, he faced tough defeats, exiting in the fourth round to Carlos Alcaraz in 2024 and succumbing to a five-set battle against Rafael Nadal in 2022.
