Three times the charm, or is it? Let’s find out.

At just 24 years old and currently ranked World No. 31, Baez is now one victory away from making history as the first player to successfully defend the Santiago title. As he strides confidently into his 10th ATP final, he prepares to battle against Laslo Djere on Sunday.

Djere secured his spot in the final after a hard-fought match, defeating top seed Francisco Cerundolo with a tally of 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.

With a stellar record of 77 wins and 37 losses on clay, and after clinching the title in Rio last week against Alexandre Muller, Baez continues to build on his momentum with six career titles to his name.

Adding to his confidence, he has triumphed in both previous encounters against Djere.
