Fun Fact: In the history of the Open Era, only three players have clinched ATP titles after rallying back from a set down in each of their matches.

Remarkably, two of these incredible comebacks occurred in just the past two seasons.

The first player to accomplish this was the legendary Arthur Ashe, who triumphed at the 1975 WCT Finals in a gripping manner.

Fast forward 49 years, and we saw Alexander Bublik replicate this feat by securing the Montpellier title with the same resounding comeback strategy.

Recently, the talented French player Alexandre Muller marked his place in history by winning the Hong Kong event, overcoming a set deficit in every round to claim victory.

Each player’s journey holds its own unique story. While Ashe competed in just three matches during the 1975 WCT Finals—best-of-five sets—Bublik extended his journey to four matches in Montpellier. Muller takes the crown with five matches won, making him the only player in this exclusive club to turn the tide after losing the first set five times on his way to victory.
