The countdown to the Internazionali BNL d’Italia has begun, with the main draw set to unfold in Rome this Wednesday. However, the tennis celebrations are already buzzing in the heart of the Eternal City!

On Monday, ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi was among a select group that visited the Quirinale, the official residence of Italy’s President Sergio Mattarella.

During this pivotal meeting, Gaudenzi engaged in meaningful discussions with President Mattarella, accompanied by Angelo Binaghi, President of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation.

The much-anticipated draw for this season’s fifth ATP Masters 1000 event also took place on Monday in the iconic Piazza del Popolo. Italian sensation Jannik Sinner, currently topping the PIF ATP Rankings, is set to lead the charge. He aims to become only the second player in history to achieve the Career Golden Masters.

The Internazionali BNL d’Italia will be hosted at the beautiful Foro Italico until May 17.
