Currently positioned seventh in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin, De Minaur battled through a thrilling match against the powerful Gabriel Diallo, eventually sealing the match 7-6(8), 4-6, 6-3 after two intense hours and 37 minutes.

The first set was a rollercoaster, with Diallo initially surging to a commanding 5/0 lead in the tie-break. However, De Minaur shifted into high gear, winning five straight points to put pressure back on the Canadian, who was hoping for an upset.

Despite having three set points in the tie-break—including two on his own serve—Diallo succumbed to De Minaur’s relentless defense, resulting in 66 unforced errors, with a staggering 36 of them coming from his forehand. In contrast, De Minaur managed 32 unforced errors.
