Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are set to navigate their paths to a coveted Rolex Paris Masters title — and potentially their sixth consecutive final face-off.

World No. 1 Alcaraz returns to competition after a brief hiatus of over three weeks, initiating his Paris journey against Cameron Norrie or Sebastian Baez, as per Friday’s official draw. Meanwhile, Sinner, who continues his campaign in the Vienna semi-finals, will face Alex Michelsen or Zizou Bergs at La Défense Arena.

The season’s concluding ATP Masters 1000 event is rife with significance, influencing the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin as players compete for vital spots in the Nitto ATP Finals.

Anticipation builds for a thrilling third-round clash between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Casper Ruud. Auger-Aliassime stands ninth in the PIF ATP Live Race To Turin, just 410 points ahead of 11th-placed Ruud. Unfortunately, Jack Draper, currently in 10th, is sidelined for the season due to injury.

Lorenzo Musetti, eyeing his debut at the Nitto ATP Finals, currently occupies the final qualifying spot at eighth. The Italian is set to compete against Alexander Zverev in the Vienna semi-finals this Saturday; both players are seeded to meet in the Paris quarter-finals, with Zverev as the titleholder in the French capital.

Seeded fourth, Taylor Fritz and sixth seed Alex de Minaur are both in strong contention to return to Turin, with a potential quarter-final match on the horizon. Denis Shapovalov is slated for a rematch against #NextGenATP prodigy Joao Fonseca in his opening match, with the victor facing 2018 Paris champion Karen Khachanov.

Cousins Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot, present at the draw ceremony, may face off in the second round. Vacherot, who triumphed over Rinderknech in the Shanghai final to claim the title of the lowest-ranked ATP Masters 1000 champion, is set against 14th seed Jiri Lehecka.

Alcaraz and Sinner have engaged in finals at every tournament they’ve both attended recently, including their epic clash at the US Open, where Alcaraz emerged victorious in four sets, reclaiming his World No. 1 status for the first time since 2023. The Spaniard currently leads their Lexus ATP Head2Head series 10-5.

The 2025 Rolex Paris Masters marks its debut at La Défense Arena, Europe’s largest indoor sports venue. Main draw events will unfold from October 27 to November 2.
