At just 27 years old, Paul recently made waves by reaching his third Grand Slam quarterfinal at the Australian Open this January, solidifying his position in the ATP Top 10 with a career-high ranking of World No.9.

Currently sitting at World No.13, Paul will join forces with the impressive duo of Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton on this year’s Team World lineup, which will be guided by the legendary Andre Agassi as captain for the first time. Team World is determined to claim their third title at the prestigious event, having celebrated victories in London in 2022 and again in Vancouver in 2023, with Paul contributing to both triumphs. Meanwhile, Team Europe holds the historical edge in the head-to-head record at the Laver Cup.

In anticipation of San Francisco, Team Europe, captained by Yannick Noah, has already announced two names for their six-player roster: World No.3 Carlos Alcaraz and World No.2 Alexander Zverev.
