Katerina Siniakova continues to shine as the premier doubles champion, consistently adding to her winning legacy.

The Czech superstar clinched her impressive tenth Grand Slam title in women’s doubles on Sunday, teaming up with American sensation Taylor Townsend to conquer Jelena Ostapenko and Hsieh Su-Wei with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-7(4), 6-3 in a thrilling showdown.

Siniakova’s remarkable achievement marks her as the first woman to achieve double-digit Slam titles since the legendary Martina Hingis, who secured her 10th title at Wimbledon in 2015.

“This journey has been incredible—a real roller coaster, and I cherish every moment,” said Siniakova, reflecting on her bond with Townsend. “She is an amazing partner. Today’s match illustrated our teamwork and friendship perfectly, and I truly love it.”

Unfortunately, Siniakova faced an early exit in singles against Iga Swiatek, while Townsend stumbled in her match against Mexico’s Renata Zarazua.

Last year, Townsend and Siniakova triumphed together at Wimbledon, and Siniakova has amassed seven major doubles titles alongside Barbora Krejcikova, in addition to one with Coco Gauff.

The dynamic duo boasts a remarkable 15-1 record in Grand Slam competitions together.
