This season’s narrative featured an enchanting Shanghai final where cousins Valentin Vacherot and Arthur Rinderknech stole the spotlight. Both players are set to return to the ATP Masters 1000 stage in just under two weeks.
After securing his victory in Shanghai, champion Vacherot and runner-up Rinderknech are the spotlight players among the wild cards for the Rolex Paris Masters, as officially announced by tournament organizers on Tuesday.
Vacherot is excited to make his debut at the season’s concluding Masters 1000 event, while Rinderknech boasts a competitive 2-3 record at this prestigious tournament, as per the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
Starting at No. 204 in the PIF ATP Rankings during his Shanghai triumph, Vacherot has now soared to a remarkable career-high of World No. 39.
Arthur Cazaux and Terence Atmane have also earned wild cards into the main draw. Atmane previously enjoyed a remarkable Masters 1000 journey in Cincinnati, reaching the semi-finals as a qualifier before facing Jannik Sinner.
Additionally, Ugo Blanchet, Hugo Gaston, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, and Kyrian Jacquet have been awarded wild cards for the qualifying rounds.
