Thursday’s Action in Bucharest Halted by Rain

Friday promises an exciting lineup with eight singles matches, including four thrilling quarter-finals at ATP 250.

Unyielding rain marred Thursday’s play at the Tiriac Open, allowing just two matches to finish.

Originally, the lineup included four second-round singles matches and three doubles contests. However, only one match started, featuring Fabian Marozsan and Stefanos Sakellaridis. Their encounter was halted at around 6 p.m. local time (EEST) as rain returned with Marozsan serving at 1-1, 40/40.

As a result of the delays, Friday is set to be packed with action in Bucharest. All four remaining second-round singles matches, including the encounter between Marozsan and Sakellaridis, will take place, along with the quarter-finals. Second seed Adrian Mannarino and fifth seed Sebastian Baez might find themselves playing back-to-back matches in this clay-court event. Check out the complete order of play below.
