Novak Djokovic is currently on a three-match losing streak following his recent defeat to Matteo Arnaldi in Madrid. This situation is set to continue, as the 24-time major champion has officially announced his withdrawal from the upcoming Internazionali BNL D’Italia in Rome.

The tournament organization confirmed that the six-time champion would not be competing this Tuesday evening.

There’s no official reason provided yet, but this unexpected decision has raised eyebrows, considering that the Serbian superstar has always prioritized Rome, the venue where he made his debut in 2007 and had not missed a single year since then. He boasts an impressive 68-12 overall record at the Foro Italico during his 18 career appearances.
