Lorenzo Musetti is now just two victories away from clinching a coveted spot in the Nitto ATP Finals, after confidently defeating Alexandre Muller with a score of 6-2, 6-4 at the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Hellenic Championship, propelling him into the semi-finals in Athens.

The pressure is palpable. To realize his dream of debuting at the illustrious season finale on home turf, Musetti must claim victory at the ATP 250. Felix Auger-Aliassime currently occupies the eighth and final qualifying position in the PIF ATP Live Race to Turin.

The victor of this contest will enter the spotlight alongside Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, and Ben Shelton in the Bjorn Borg Group, as confirmed by Thursday’s official draw.

However, 1,400 miles away from Turin, Musetti’s focus remained razor-sharp. The 23-year-old maestro outmaneuvered Muller with superb shot placement and wrapped up the match with finesse, sealing the victory on his first serve opportunity after just 82 minutes. This marks Musetti’s seventh semi-final of the season, where he is set to clash with Sebastian Korda next.

It All Adds Up

Korda secured his place in his third tour-level semi-final of the season, triumphing over Miomir Kecmanovic with a convincing 6-3, 6-2 scoreline.

The American had previously bested Kecmanovic on the way to an Adelaide final in January and currently leads their Lexus ATP Head2Head series 3-1. With a remarkable 13 aces and winning 30 out of 33 first-serve points, Korda showcased an impressive serving display, according to Infosys ATP Stats.

Rising to No. 48 in the PIF ATP Live Rankings, the 25-year-old is on the hunt for his first title of the season in his final event of 2025, guaranteeing him a finish within the Top 50.
