Lucas Pouille is on a quest to revive his career following successful surgery.
The 30-year-old tennis star announced that his surgery to fix a ruptured right Achilles tendon went well today.

Pouille, a former world No. 10, suffered an Achilles injury during the ATP Challenger finals in Lille yesterday. He was behind qualifier Arthur Bouquier at 3-6, 5-3 when the injury occurred.
Initially, he dreaded the possibility of it being career-ending. However, Pouille expressed more optimism in his social media updates before and after the surgery.
“The prognosis was as expected… a complete rupture of the Achilles tendon,” Pouille stated on social media. “I am sincerely grateful for all your messages of support. I will… give my all to make a comeback.”

“Thank you for your overwhelming support,” Pouille shared on X after the surgery today. “The operation was a resounding success.”
Having undergone elbow surgery previously, Pouille now faces a challenging path ahead for recovery.
His coach and close friend Enzo Py confidently told L’Equipe that Pouille’s career is far from over.
