Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul secured their sixth ATP Tour title—and their first of 2026—on Sunday during the Tiriac Open presented by UniCredit Bank in Bucharest.

The top-seeded French pair faced Adam Pavlasek and Patrik Rikl, winning decisively with a score of 6-1, 6-4 in the final. They demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the tournament, managing to win every match without dropping a set. This victory marks their second title in Bucharest, having also celebrated success in the Romanian capital back in 2024.

“What an incredible experience! We truly enjoyed every moment,” Doumbia expressed about their week. “This place feels like home, and we’re thrilled to have won our second title here. We entered the clay season with high hopes, knowing this is our favorite surface. We aim to perform well at the Masters 1000s and Roland Garros—our home tournament.”

Following their success in Bucharest, Doumbia and Reboul have moved up three positions to seventh in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings, eyeing their debut at the Nitto ATP Finals.

The duo will now set their sights on the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, where they will face off against Austrians Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler. The current Lexus ATP Head2Head record stands at 2-1 in favor of their opponents.

“We’re up against two Austrian friends, making it a special match. While it’s great to ride this wave of confidence, we know we have to start fresh. Monte-Carlo is another amazing tournament, and we plan to enjoy it,” commented Reboul, looking ahead to their opener.
