Novak Djokovic is officially out of the Davis Cup.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion has made the tough decision to withdraw from the Davis Cup as he focuses on healing from a muscle tear in his left leg, an injury that led to his retirement during last week’s Australian Open semifinals.

Djokovic, a former world No. 1, has an illustrious history with the Davis Cup, having led Serbia to victory in 2010 and holding impressive team records with 46 wins against 16 losses and 41 singles wins out of 49 matches.
Medical experts estimate that the muscle tear Djokovic incurred at the Australian Open may take six to eight weeks to completely heal.
