Jannik Sinner has triumphed once again at the Australian Open, successfully defending his title and extending his remarkable Grand Slam hard-court winning streak to an impressive 21 matches. He now stands alongside Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer as one of only three players in the Open Era to clinch three consecutive hard-court major titles.

Rest and recuperation.

After an exhilarating performance in Melbourne, Sinner has decided to sit out the Rotterdam event next month. He expressed the need for some downtime to recover.

“After careful discussions with my team, we made the tough call to withdraw from the ABN AMRO Open,” Sinner stated. “My body needs some time to recover after such an extensive stint in Australia.”

“I have fond memories of winning the title in front of electrifying crowds at Rotterdam Ahoy last year, and I truly hope to return soon. Best wishes to Richard [Krajicek] and the entire team for a fantastic event.”

A year ago, Sinner overwhelmed Alex de Minaur with a score of 7-5, 6-4 to secure the Rotterdam title.

The 23-year-old star, currently enjoying a career-best winning streak of 21 matches, may take a break until the highly anticipated Indian Wells tournament, scheduled from March 5-16.
