Rising tennis sensation Arthur Fery is set to lead the charge in the qualifying tournament for the men’s National Bank Open.
The French-born athlete, who proudly represents Britain, made headlines by reaching the semifinals of the grass-court Grand Slam, earning his spot through a wild-card invitation.
His impressive performance at the All England Club propelled him up 78 places in the ATP rankings, landing him at an impressive No. 36.
Joining him in Montreal is Australia’s Alexei Popyrin, the reigning champion of 2024, as part of the exciting lineup revealed on Thursday for the one-day qualifying event on August 1.
The qualifying round will feature 32 competitors battling for 16 coveted spots, with the draw scheduled for July 31.
Main draw action kicks off at the ATP 1000 event on August 2 in Montreal, with seeded players entering the fray on August 4.
