World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has soared into his second straight Wimbledon final after a stunning 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 victory against the legendary seven-time champion Novak Djokovic on the iconic Centre Court.
In just two hours and 20 minutes, Sinner delivered one of his most polished performances yet. The Italian maestro unleashed an impressive 40 winners, including a staggering 16 aces, while maintaining a perfect record with no double faults. He dominated his first serve, winning 88 percent of those points, and also claimed 61 percent of his second serves, converting three of 13 break points and finishing with merely 15 unforced errors.
Djokovic, on the other hand, was aiming for an unprecedented 11th Wimbledon final but fell short. He managed to hit 26 winners but also accumulated 23 unforced errors, along with eight aces and three double faults. Remarkably, he couldn’t break Sinner’s serve and created just one break point throughout the entire match.

“Absolutely, I recognized that I had to step up mentally. I did just that today, and it made a real difference for me.
“When playing against someone like Novak, maintaining your level is crucial; you have to bring your best tennis. I served exceptionally well today, and it worked to my advantage.
Despite his thrilling win, Sinner confessed that facing the 24-time Grand Slam champion still invokes its own brand of pressure.
“Even during my recent winning streak, the pressure before facing Novak was palpable.
“For me, he is a true role model. Competing against him is an honor, and feeling that pressure during these matches will hopefully benefit my journey moving forward.
Sinner’s journey will continue as he prepares to take on Alexander Zverev in the final on Sunday.
“There’s definitely a different vibe when comparing my journey to his. Zverev has worked so hard, and when you finally reach that achievement, it’s incredibly uplifting. You can see how confident he’s become; his aggressive gameplay and powerful serve make him a formidable opponent now, even more so than before.
“This next match will undoubtedly be a brand new challenge, quite different from any we’ve played in the past.
