Gabriela Dabrowski’s journey at the French Open has come to a close.

The dynamic duo of Canada’s Dabrowski and American Evan King fell short in the Roland Garros mixed doubles final, losing 6-4, 3-6, 4-10 on Thursday in Paris.

Claiming the title for a consecutive year, the top-seeded Italian pair, Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori, stood victorious.

Hailing from Ottawa, Dabrowski aimed for her third Grand Slam mixed-doubles title, with the last one dating back to the 2018 Australian Open.

At 34 years old, she still has hope in women’s doubles, as she and her Brazilian partner, Luisa Stefani, prepare for their semifinal clash on Friday.

Unfortunately, Dabrowski and King struggled with their serves, tallying four double faults and winning just 38 percent of their second serve points.
