A Special Connection to Madrid
The ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Madrid holds a unique place in Moller’s heart. It was here that he made his ATP Tour debut last year. Although he faced defeat against then-18-year-old Joao Fonseca in his opening match, Moller has thrived in the high-altitude conditions since then. Returning for the 2026 event, he has already celebrated four victories, including two in the qualification rounds.

Backhand Power
While Moller is set to take on Sinner, a renowned ball-striker, he possesses a formidable weapon of his own: his two-handed backhand. This smooth and dynamic shot has been crucial in his rise on the tour. In his first-round match against Federico Cina in Madrid, Moller launched an impressive 29 winners, with 14 stemming from his backhand.

Challenger Triumphs
Moller has marked his territory at the ATP Challenger level with four titles to his name, securing three of them in an impressive 2025 season. All victories came on clay, and in Oeiras last year, he toiled through the competition, defeating three Top 100 players (Thiago Monteiro, Roman Safiullin, and Francisco Comesana) while losing just one set during his title run.

Ambitions for the Top 100
Thanks to his Challenger achievements in 2025, Moller ascended to a personal best of No. 102 in the PIF ATP Rankings by July. With his current success in Madrid, he has made an impressive leap to No. 141 in the Live Rankings and aims to continue building momentum toward breaking into the Top 100—regardless of the outcome in his inaugural Lexus ATP Head2Head matchup with Sinner.

Danish Heritage
Hailing from Aarhus, Denmark, Moller cultivated his skills locally before venturing abroad at the age of 11. His father, Jesper Bak, has played a significant role in his development. Moller is determined to carve out a place among Denmark’s elite players, inspired by the legacy of former World No. 4 Holger Rune.
