He fought valiantly to overcome Benjamin Bonzi, ending with scores of 6-7(6), 6-1, 6-4, advancing to the third round.

In a thrilling upset, young star Jodar, the local hero, dominated World No. 8 Alex de Minaur 6-3, 6-1, earning his first Top 10 victory. The Spaniard is set to face fellow #NextGenATP talent Joao Fonseca next.
