Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are set to launch their 2026 clay court season this Tuesday at the iconic Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.

The excitement begins on Court Rainier III at 11 a.m. local time (CEST) with Matteo Berrettini squaring off against Roberto Bautista Agut, followed by Sinner’s highly anticipated match against Ugo Humbert. Reigning World No. 1 Alcaraz will then defend his title against Sebastian Baez before Alexander Bublik faces off with Gael Monfils to round out the day on the stadium court of the Monte-Carlo Country Club.

After experiencing a dip in form with losses in two of his last three matches, Alcaraz is eager for a return to clay—his favored surface—hoping to reignite his momentum following early-season titles at the Australian Open and in Doha. He currently holds a perfect 3-0 record against Baez in their head-to-head encounters.

On the other side, second-seed Sinner aims to extend a remarkable streak of winning 34 consecutive sets at the Masters 1000 level. The Italian recently completed the illustrious ‘Sunshine Double’ by triumphing at both Indian Wells and Miami, and he has the opportunity to reclaim the No. 1 ranking from Alcaraz this week.
