Become the coach of your favorite tennis players by selecting a team of eight!
By Press Release
The ATP is thrilled to unveil its official fantasy game, ATP Fantasy, in collaboration with Deltatre. This exciting platform allows fans to engage with the Tour and its narratives in a whole new way by competing against friends and tennis enthusiasts worldwide to showcase their knowledge and potentially win fantastic prizes throughout the season.
Step into the role of a coach by curating a team of eight players—six starting and two alternates—while managing a budget of 100 credits. Player costs are influenced by the PIF ATP Live Rankings, with Carlos Alcaraz currently reigning as the highest-valued player at 40 credits, followed by Jannik Sinner (36), Alexander Zverev (33), and Novak Djokovic (30).
Joining the fantasy realm is Dominic Thiem, a 16-time tour champion and former World No. 3, who will serve as the Official Fantasy Coach for ATP. Thiem will share his weekly selections and insights to empower fans to make informed choices during each tournament week. A collaborative network of tennis creators and broadcasters—such as Tennis TV, Tennis Channel, and Sky Sports—will also contribute content and establish their own ATP Fantasy leagues, further enriching the community and enhancing the fan experience.
Scoring is tied to players’ performances throughout the ATP Tour season, with points awarded based on tournament round advancement and type. Additional points—both bonuses and penalties—are granted for in-match achievements like aces, double faults, straight-set victories, and unexpected outcomes.
The inaugural season of ATP Fantasy spans 23 tournament weeks from April to November, kicking off with the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters and concluding at the Rolex Paris Masters. Each tournament week generally lasts for one week and may feature multiple concurrent events, except for standalone ATP Masters 1000s and Grand Slams, which run over two weeks.
The season is designed around key tournament swings, each comprising series played on specific surfaces or regions, complete with individual leaderboards and prizes. The 2026 ATP Fantasy season highlights four major swings: Clay Season, Grass Season, North American Hard Court, and the Race to Nitto ATP Finals.
Fans will not only engage in private leagues with friends and family but will also compete in global monthly competitions, swing challenges, and an overall leaderboard. Prizes will include merchandise from ATP partners and the ATP Store, as well as tickets to select ATP Tour events in 2027. The ultimate champion will be rewarded with two tickets to two sessions of the 2027 Nitto ATP Finals, along with accommodations and flights.
Andrew Walker, ATP Senior Vice President, Brand & Marketing, remarked: “Fantasy sports have proven to be a powerful tool for enhancing fan engagement. ATP Fantasy provides fans with a novel way to connect with the ATP and immerse themselves in the sport, paving the way for the next generation of tennis enthusiasts.”
Peter Bellamy, Chief Revenue Officer at Deltatre, added: “This fantasy initiative highlights the effective blend of content, data, technology, and community. It’s an excellent means to reach untapped demographics while adding a new layer of engagement for fans—a goal we are proud to support through our collaboration with the ATP.”
The launch of ATP Fantasy is part of ATP’s broader strategy to connect with younger audiences, complementing various fan-focused initiatives such as collaborations with TikTok, Spotify, and Overtime, the “It All Adds Up” marketing campaign by Wieden & Kennedy, the Athlete Arrivals fashion initiative, and the revamped ATP brand identity.
