On Tuesday at the Miami Open presented by Itau, Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos took their revenge by defeating the familiar adversaries Theo Arribage and Albano Olivetti with a score of 6-4, 7-6(6), securing their place in the quarterfinals.
After losing to the French duo in the Dallas final last month, the top seeds redeemed themselves with a hard-fought victory in South Florida, clinching it on their third match point. Currently ranked third in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings, Granollers and Zeballos are hunting for their eighth ATP Masters 1000 title together.
In addition, two other seeded teams made their way into the quarterfinals on the same day. Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten, riding high on their recent titles in Doha and Dubai, extended their winning streak to nine matches, defeating Santiago Gonzalez and David Pel 6-2, 6-4. Meanwhile, reigning Australian Open champions Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski secured their place by overcoming Evan King and John Peers with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-4.

Cash & Glasspool Begin Miami Comeback with Flair
Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool kicked off their redemption journey at the Miami Open presented by Itau on Monday, defeating Petr Nouza and Patrik Rikl 6-4, 6-3 in just 62 minutes.
Ending the previous season as the first all-British duo to achieve ATP Year-End Doubles No. 1 presented by PIF honors, the second seeds are now eyeing their first title of 2026. Cash and Glasspool previously fell short in last year’s Miami final against Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic, who also began their campaign with a win on Monday.
The defending champions glided past Alexander Erler and Robert Galloway 6-1, 6-3, saving the only break point they encountered, as recorded by Infosys ATP Stats. With their 2025 Miami victory, Arevalo and Pavic accomplished the rare ‘Sunshine Double,’ becoming just the sixth team in history to do so.
