In a remarkable display of grit, Evan King and John Peers triumphed at the Miami Open presented by Itau, pulling off an impressive comeback to defeat recent Acapulco champions Marcelo Melo and Alexander Zverev with a scoreline of 4-6, 7-6(5), 10-4 in their first-round clash.
This match was a nail-biter, with King and Peers showcasing unwavering composure under pressure. After finding themselves down a set and facing a daunting 2/5 deficit in the second-set tiebreak, they rallied magnificently by clinching five consecutive points to secure the set.
