CINCINNATI — A power outage brought third-round action at the Cincinnati Open to a brief halt on Monday, lasting just over an hour.

The disruption occurred at 5:25 p.m. as Taylor Fritz secured the first set on center court with a score of 7-6(4) against Lorenzo Sonego. Meanwhile, on Court 3, Stefanos Tsitsipas was in a strong position leading Benjamin Bonzi 7-6(4), 2-5. Play resumed shortly before 6:40 p.m.

Later that evening, defending champion Jannik Sinner was set to face off against Canadian standout Gabriel Diallo.
