Canada is gearing up with a formidable team to chase its second Davis Cup title.

Felix Auger-Aliassime and Gabriel Diallo, both hailing from Montreal, are key players in the roster set to represent Canada at the 113th Davis Cup in Halifax, N.S., as officially announced by Tennis Canada on Sunday.

Both Auger-Aliassime and Diallo were part of the victorious Canadian squad from 2022 that captured the championship.

“The journey towards the 2026 Davis Cup Finals begins here, and we are excited to bring a powerhouse team to the East Coast, aiming to qualify in February,” team captain Frank Dancevic expressed in the announcement. “While our lineup is impressive, we must remain cautious – anything can unfold in Davis Cup matches. Halifax, we can’t wait to showcase our talents for you and are committed to delivering our best in front of a lively Canadian audience.”

Additional selections include Liam Draxl from Newmarket, Ont., Alexis Galarneau from Laval, Que., and Cleeve Harper from Calgary.

This World Group I tie will unfold on September 12 and 13 at Scotiabank Centre, where Canada will compete against Israel.
