Dear Tennis Supporters, We are tennis players that recently graduated from college as captains of our tennis teams thanks to the guidance, support and help of VegasTennis.com's Marty Hennessy Jr. Tennis Foundation. Instead of taking jobs on the east coast, we both decided we would come back and help the organization that helped us. |
I am writing to see if you would help our efforts by being a member of our tournament committee or as a player in the charity tennis tournament we are putting on at the end of April. The State Bar of Nevada, the Clark County Bar Association and The Nevada Justice Association have agreed to sponsor the tennis tournament, officially called "The Barristers? Ball Charity Tennis Championships." This tournament is a fundraiser to keep children ?Out of Court? by keeping them ?On Court!? We are happy to say many of the city’s best attorney’s, judges, law firms and legal service groups are sponsoring and playing in the event! So far our sponsors include Litigation Services, The Rogich Communications Group, Anthem Forensics, Granello Bakery, Sylvia Jacobs, Snell & Wilmer, Charlie Palmer Group, The Wolfington Companies, The Pasta Shop Ristorante, Johnny Love Vodka, Jana Water, Pupchips, Justice Entertainment Group, Northcap and more. It is our true desire to thank the foundation and our mentor Ryan Wolfington for all they have done to change the direction of our lives. We know personally many of the children the foundation is now helping and we want to do our part. Seeing these children's lives improved and changed much like our own is one of the most rewarding experiences we have known. We are writing to see if you would like to be a part of that. You can help in the following ways: 1. Play or get others to play in the junior or adult tennis tournament 2. Help us identify possible sponsors 3. Sponsor a child 4. Attend the events, exhibition and tournament party 5. Pass on this email along to your friends to do the same 6. Post our flyer on your Facebook, your club and more. 7. Help with press, set up, take down 8. Help with auction items, gift bags 9. Help umpire or run a desk 10. Be a ball person for the exhibition and or finals The adult and junior tournament, the pro-am exhibition, the Sunday brunch and tournament party are all designed to bring awareness to how the sport of tennis can change the direction of a child’s life in a positive way. We are living proof of what tennis can do. Most of our friends work at low level jobs, never attended or finished college, are caught up in partying, drugs and problems, while we are having the time of our lives helping others and being the best we can be! We credit the guidance from the foundation and our mentors for our success and are excited to pass it forward. All proceeds go to VegasTennis.com’s Marty Hennessy Jr. Tennis Foundation, an organization we are happy to say is a part of our family. The foundation has helped close to forty children like us get scholarships to play college tennis. Right now they have hundreds in middle and high school that are on their way being inspired, mentored and given free clinics, tutoring and personal development tools to better their lives. A portion of the proceeds will also be given to USTA Nevada to help fund the costs associated with providing non- profit tennis programming to our community. If you have an interest in playing or getting involved, please read the tournament and event flyer below and contact me at 702-767-531 or trenton.alenik@gmail.com. Thanks Frideric Prandecki & Trent Alenik Foundation Alumni & Volunteers |
