JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS SPRING 2009 DISTRICT PLAYOFF RESULTS

Junior Team Tennis District Play-offs were held Saturday, May 31st at the Darling Tennis Center. 16 teams competed in the event, representing clubs and facilities from all over the valley. The play-offs were the culmination of the 2009 Spring League Season which began the first week of March. Teams that finished in the top two positions at the end of the regular season qualified to advance to the play-offs.

Play-off results are listed below. Congratulations to all of the coaches for a successful season and to all of the players who participated!

12 & Under Beginner Division:
Champions: Desert Palm Tennis Club: Audrey Boch-Collins, Jack Kostrinsky, Chase Watson, Nikki Watson, Joshua Wesiboard, Rachel Wurmbrand.
Finalists: Team Agassi: Madisen Cherry, Madison Moffatt, Shelby Moffatt, Tiger Vongman, Eliseo Wao-Udin.

12 & Under Intermediate Division:
Champions: Team Agassi: Aymia Jones, Kaleena Oliver, Marycatherine Tatlock, Jeremiah Williams.
Finalists: Anthem Aces: Sedona Gallagher, Alexandra Grady, Miles McCormick, Michael Safbom.
3rd Place: Red Rock Country Club: Ben Goodman, Celine Zack, Chilli Kellaway, Josh Powell, Alex Agrawal.
4th Place: Fighting Desert Tortoises: Dakota Hinton, Giovanni Lacala, Tiffany Theophil.

14 & Under Intermediate Boys Division:
Champions: Anthem Aces: Michael Boyd, Ian Dobberstein, Aaron Egbert, Sam Grant, Daniel Samlaska.
Finalists: O’Callahan Park: Teodor Drabicki, Peter Houston-Hencken, Joseph Maalouf, Alex Olvera.
3rd Place: STC Nordique: Neil Banerji, Eric Clark, Kota Cook, Alex Karbowniczek, Cullan Staack.
4^th Place: Dawson Black Bears: Jonathan Ben-Rey, Easton Bunker, Griffin Haddrill, Peter Kelesis, Lex Martin.

14 & Under Intermediate Girls Division:
Champions: STC Maple Leafs: Danielle Gordon, Britney Khuu, Paige Schanbacher, Lauren Waymire.
Finalists: All American Park: Alexandra Bland, Brooke Harding, Kaitlin McDaniel.

18 & Under Intermediate Division:
Champions: Las Vegas High School: Danica Engstrom, Cami Fish, Kiara Miller, Braydon Pikyavit.
Finalists: Team Agassi: Unique Hawkins, Hanifa Nunez, Takeyrah Reid, Hannah Tatlock, Majhanae Thomas, Ashley Wao-Udin.
