The 2008 USTA/Nevada Mixed Doubles District Championships were played this week-end, June 6-8, at the Darling Tennis Center. Red Rock CC’s 8.0 Mixed Doubles team played TPC’s 8.0 Mixed Doubles team. The matches were an incredible display of talent with the Red Rock team winning after 3 days of competition in a 3rd set tie-break, winning by 2 points. Both teams showed a great display of sportsmanship. Red Rock’s captain, Dr. Jeff Ng stated, ?This was a very difficult team to play (TPC), not only because of their ability but also because we are all such good friends.?
